Kristine + Nathan | Santana Row Engagement Session

I love my couples and when they power through a RAINY engagement session with a positive attitude, well I love them that much more!  Kristine and Nathan took the day off for our shoot at Santana Row and were such troopers the whole time. We shot in between the downpour and totally made the best of it.  I admire the love they have for each other, which is clearly evident by the way they look at each other.  My goal for the famous ‘red wall’ was to shoot it differently than any other photographer which meant using natural light and shooting from a different angle.  I dragged my trusty 10′ Werner ladder around Santana Row in the pouring rain so that I could capture them from a bird’s eye view. It was totally the shot I had envisioned and Kristine’s expression made it priceless.  What I love most about photographer is that there is as little story behind every single photo and this engagement shoot at Santana Row was no different.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from our e-session.

A special thanks to Lindsey Bolls of Federal Realty (Santana Row’s Marketing Coordinator)!
